I'm going to say "Final Fantasy: The 4 Heroes of Light."  It uses Ability Points instead of the usual MP.  While there were potions that restored AP, I didn't use them very often since at the end of each turn, one AP is regenerated.

I still haven't finished 4 Heroes of Light. xD I'm just too intimidated! I suppose I'll get around to it sometime soon... But I'm probably gonna have to print out the GameFAQs for it.

Or I could just plow through without it. I did that for most of the game, after all... Except it was very messy. xD
